Our Proven Process: From Vision to Reality.
For almost three decades American Contracting Services has been renovating larger residences and modifying commercial spaces to new uses. Over the years we have developed processes that work well for us and the customers we serve.
It all begins with a phone call.
At American Contracting we have no salespeople. When you call to inquire about a project you will speak directly with one of the two owners. Together they have over 60 years’ experience renovating homes and businesses in the greater Baltimore metropolitan area.
In the initial call we first discuss your renovation goals.
- What problem are you seeking to solve?
- Are you looking for additional space or simply remodeling what you have?
- What functions will the additional space provide?
- Do you have drawings yet? (It doesn’t matter if you don’t. We can always arrange for those.)
- Do you have an idea of your budget yet?
The second step is to see the house or building.
Again, only the owners attend this meeting with the customer. We will walk through the house or building together, taking measurements and photos along the way. We will also be looking for opportunities to “value engineer” the project so that the renovation goal can be met while keeping the costs down.
Once the initial meeting has concluded we present our estimate for the work in a multi-page, detailed description of all that would be needed to complete the job.
Our goal is to provide our customers with a collaborative, low pressure environment, supplying them with all the information they need to properly assess their project and our skills and abilities to build it for them.
