A young couple contacted American Contracting for some design and remodeling help. They had just purchased their first house in the Pikesville area. While the structure was sound, the house needed updating, especially in the kitchen. There was a wall between the kitchen and the family room on the other side. The new owners wanted to remove the wall and create a modern, open space to incorporate both spaces.

With our designer, Rachel Etheredge, the couple created an open floor plan and more contemporary look to the kitchen. Taking their ideas to Mr. Sean Towner of Northfield Kitchens the team developed cabinet, countertops and backsplash selections. The owners even selected glittered grout for the backsplash.

The result is a great entertaining space for family and friends. Our customers love their new kitchen layout. In future post we will share what we did in the master bathroom.
