For residential work we primarily do home additions, master suites, kitchens, bathrooms and basements. We also create in-law suites and “aging in place” renovations. Most of the projects are extensive and are referred to us by past customers, architects and designers.

For commercial work we primarily renovate existing spaces, build additional spaces and tenant fit outs. Some examples included building small brick and block warehouses, converting a church to office space, renovating a movie theater, building out beauty schools and beauty salons.

American Contracting was formed in 1998. Co-owner Tim Lanocha has been in the construction business all his life. Co-owner Bruce Quackenbush, an attorney, was a previous customer before he became an owner. Together they have renovated hundreds of homes and businesses in the Baltimore metropolitan area.

We have an interior designer on staff that can produce basic floor plans and can help with finishes selections. Should you need more detailed or complex construction drawings we work with some of the finest architects in the area.
